Strengths: This player has all the options currently available in higher priced players. It fits comforatbly in your hand with all the controls within reach with one or two fingers.
Weaknesses: The FM antenna is not very good. If you want to use the FM recording feature, you'd want a better FM reception.
Summary: 2005-09-24 13:45:26 This player met all of my requirements. This is the only player with SD card expansion, FM recording, runs on standard AAA battery, no moving parts and under $75. The single alkaline AAA battery lasts about 12-15hrs with the volume level set at 10-15 (volume level goes from 0 - 30). This player has performed very well since I bought it last month. There is one unexpected bonus of it's design. The orange parts of the case is rubber. This acts like the rubber under your commuter coffee mug. It keeps the player from sliding around on your table, dashboard, etc.. On the front side of the player (the orange square perimeter), are the controls for the player. You can use this or the joystick control on the side. Its software is easy to use and file transfer is fast and easy. Play tunes by playlists, albums, artists, genre, year, or random. I'm very pleased with this player and I recommend it for others who are looking for these features.

Strengths: Does everything right. Good usable controls, informative screens, organizes albums, artists, etc. but leaves music in recorded order so classical and live performances are played correctly.
Weaknesses: FM antenna not real good; nearby stations not as clear as they should be. Since I bought this for the player capability and not the radio, it won't matter much to me.
Summary: See comments above. This is an excellent player with terrific features, good controls, good manual, excellent support from Motorola. It is the third player I've tried and far and away the best of the bunch. Highly recommend this player!

Strengths: handy, super for jogging etc. i would say design is not bad, some people dont like its design because its just different. all other players are rectangular, this one is square. nice quality.
Weaknesses: its complect includes cheap headfones. buy another!!! little complicated to use it, but hey you will get used to it!!!
Summary: 2005-09-16 11:42:13 it works for you not the other way around. it, of course, has USB connectivity which means it will work with any so-so laptop or PC. USB speed is 2.0 which is high. you will fill it with songs at 3 minutes top. slot for 1 giga SD card is a nice option, i have not tried that yet though. does not seem to be as a cheap plastic for me. girls say its cute. bought for 70$ shipping included and i think it was a nice deal.
