    Product Experience:
    3 Months
Strengths: Plenty of hard drive space, touch screen, bluetooth, N-wifi, 3Gb of memory, fast processor, DVD -RW w/lightscribe, remote, web cam, finger print reader, and gigabit eithernet.
Weaknesses: Runs hot when running off A/C at full speed, 6 cell battery, finger smudge magnet.
Summary: I have been using mine for about 3 months now. I take it with me when I go out of town. I shopped around for a month trying to find the best deal and tried to build the exact system on the HP web site, but Circuit City had the best deal at the time, plus my local store had only 1 on hand, and would not let me "play" with it before opening. I did a lot of research online for this system, read all the reviews I could and was impressed. Even though the screen is only 12.1 inches, it is big enough to get the job done. It comes with Visa Home Premium SP1 and runs great out of the box. It did not come with a lot of "bloatware", and trial versions of MS Office, and McAfee. I never did buy the upgrades on the trialware, I just found Open Office, and AVG to replace them with. The large, 250GB, harddrive has plenty of room to grow with. The lightscribe DVD/RW - drive is quick, and will play just about any DVD. With this system I have replaced my MP3 player, Palm TX, and portable DVD player. It is not a high speed gaming rig, but will run just about anything you can throw at it. Even thought it is a cheaper tablet, don't let the price fool you. It is well worth the money if you are looking for a small portable system to take with you on the road. I can connect to just about any wi-fi network, and with the blue tooth, I am able to connect to my cell phone and sync, and get on the Internet with out any problems. The remote is a nice little feature that stows away in the PCI expansion slot.

The only big compliant is that it does run hot near the exhaust port for the processor and on the back. I have been able to get about 2 hours out a full charge watching a DVD. It is also a finger print magnet, the screen and the exterior case picks up smudges fast, and it being a touch screen, the screen does get a little difficult to read in direct sun light.

I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a smaller style notebook computer that will do just about anything you would like with. The touch screen is just a plus at this cost.

Strengths: Affordable price, very good features
Weaknesses: heavy and gets hot
Summary: I found this HP tablet pc very capable and reasonably priced compared to other brands. Other pluses are a big hard drive and 3 Gigs of memory. The only complaint I have is it gets hot.
