Strengths: Sturdy mount and tripod.
Weaknesses: As usual, the maximum advertised magnification is completely bogus.
Very sketchy manual.
Summary: This is a solid entry-level reflector telescope.
Putting it together took less than 20 minutes, however the manual was not much help: low-quality printing, sketchy instructions, figures lacking detail.
There is no CD ROM software included.
However, the equatorial mount and the precision manual controls are very helpful in achieving a stable image, also the aluminum tripod is sturdy.
Do not believe the advertised maximum magnification, unless you have absolutely perfect viewing conditions, don't even attempt more than 200x, which pretty much rules out using the Barlow tube.
Overall, it is a decent entry-level telescope, and if you can find it for under about $150 it is a good value.
