SimonTshum Member Since: Dec 2005 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 2 Months	Hitachi 50VS810 Strengths: In HD mode the set is as good as any plasma for the same size, lots of extra feature and the intelligent remote is awesome. Weaknesses: When you watch regular channel, the clarity is not that good but once you see HD you cannot go back to regular TV, so it makes no difference to me since I would not be watching regular TV. Summary: I was looking for a plasma TV and I think I have found better in this TV than the Panasonic plasma I wanted. The price is great and the image is wonderful. The set come with a turner that allow you to control up to 4 device and the USB port for viewing digital picture is just fabulous. The black surround frame is sleek and futuristic and there are diagonal lines over the speakers to accent the lines. It has elements of great industrial design. Ha! The 50" TV is only 16 inches deep and it tapers in the back to cut down the profile that it just fuzzes the line between plasma and DLP. I got my from 6th Ave. Great service, awesome price. lmclouth from MI Member Since: Oct 2005 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 23 Months	Rear projection LCD HDTV with built-in HD tuner and two HDMI connectors Strengths: Has a built-in HD tuner, camera USB input, and two HDMI connectors. Picture quality is excellent and with a wide viewing angle! Weaknesses: Separate settings for day and night viewing is nice but if you turn the TV on after the switch time, you have to manually switch the settings; which is a single button on the remote. Summary: This HDTV is now a little old so it is 720p (not 1080p like newer models.) But even now this TV has one of the best pictures available. There are several professional reviews as well as amateurs that rate this TV one of the bests! Having a built-in HD tuner is an excellent feature because you do not need to waste one of the HDMI connectors just for a tuner. I have an upconverting DVD player plugged into one HDMI and a Sony DHG-HDD500 DVR into the other one. Even standard NTSC looks great on this TV as well as old VHS recordings.
