Strengths: Articulate detail, Tight and Punchy Bass. Sound imaging is amazing. The Copper colored woofers add class. Very Efficient
Weaknesses: heavy
Summary: I moved from satellites to these floor standing loud speakers but let me tell you I had five sat. and they don't even compare to just two of these. I can actually feel the bass hitting me when I turn it up. Everyone recommended these for HT but I find them very pleasing for music too. Alot of people say that the horns are bright but I didn't find the, bright at all. I love the detail these speakers provide from the pin drop the explosion nothing is left out. At first I was actually leaning towards the Acoustech HT-88 but then I did a demo for the RF-82 at bestbuy and instantly fell in love with them. I would never want another speakers to replace these.
