 samsung french door 29 cu ft. Strengths: Beautiful fridge, holds everything. However it's goiong back to Lowes this week. Icemaker doesn't work. Parts are not available
Weaknesses: Icemaker doesn't work, parts unavailable
Summary: Do your homework. We have had 3 repairmen in less than the 6 weeks we have owned this fridge. No one can get the icemaker to work. They have replaced it and now the parts are on backorder with no delivery date in sight. For the 3K price tag there should be no problems. Buyer beware. I will buy LG.

Shameful & Pitiful
Strengths: hard to say
Weaknesses: Doesn't cool, Samsung sucks, icemaker and water dispenser do not work
Summary: When we plugged in our brand new 29 cubic Samsung and it didn't cool after 4 hours, we called Samsung. They said wait 24 hours. So...we waited. It never cooled. When we called for service Thursday (just before our 4th of July party)..we were told Monday someone may be able to come out. FIVE DAYS! When I talked to their Executive Customer Service, I was promised a call back in an hour...it's been 21 days and I"m still waiting. When I called back, I was hung up on. Thanks Samsung, you're very professional...and you're right, who needs their fridge anyways, simply a luxury...just keep going to your neighbors house to use their old one in the garage...Needless to say the party was cancelled. Monday came. After the tech was very late - who cares if you're waiting around the hosue 5 hours

Save Your Money! - Horrible Customer Service!
Strengths: big - looks good
Weaknesses: does not work at all - 6 weeks old and DEAD
Summary: Samsung has left my family without refrigeration for a week and counting. My six week new refrigerator died a week ago - we lost a completely fully stocked fridge and freezer of food. It actually started generating heat on the inside, we couldn't trust saving much of anything... a week later we are still have no refrigerator and no idea as to when we might have one.......... NEVER AGAIN

SAMSUNG 29CU FT A HORROR FROM DAY ONE BAD SERVICE
Strengths: Looks good, holds a lot

1. Ice Compartment ranges in temperature from 37F to 18F. Ice melts and water drips/flows out to front of refrigerator, inside refrigerator under full width door. Ice maker also is more than noisy in droppi
Summary: Unit is not really supported by SEARS where we bought it, they say its fine. The 4 sets of different service companies that have come out and NEVER take a TEMP, never check the FLOW, NEVER check the ice. We have had pools of water on our floor from the leaking ice maker that never gets to 32F. Butthey say everything is wonderful. THis is the best looking, most fully featured refrigerator anywhere. BUT IT IS A HORROR- Spoilded food, puddles inside and outside refrigerator. THE SAMSUNG AUTHORIZED REPAIR PEOPLE ARE HORRORS AND INEPT>

Strengths: We purchased a Samsung French Door Ref and it is great.
Weaknesses: The Ice maker did tear up but it was replaced at no cost to us because of the waranty.
Summary: Even though the Ice maker did not work it was replaced free of change. I will keep in touch to let you know if the new ice maker also tears up. So far I have enjoyed the Refrigerator as it does have a lot of room and it looks very nice in my kitchen. So if your ice maker does comp out on you just call 1-800-samsung and they will send someone free of change to replace the icemaker.

Strengths: Very spacious, silent and front SS look !
Weaknesses: Little noisier when making ice.
Summary: 2008-06-30 11:57:46 We upgraded our 8 years old Kenmore to this and we enjoy every bit of it. Due to the latest technology, Samsung could able to squeeze out approximately 29 Cu. Ft of space out of it.
The design throughout is great, the shelves are made with glass. From shelves that can hold gallons of juice, the egg basket,large bottles, adjustable shelves and a shelf that can be folded to make more room; the design of this fridge is very smart!
The inside LED lights are amazing and gives the luxury look and feel. It is a real compliment to our remodeled kitchen!. Also, it uses special weather strips for doors that suppose to prevent any kind of air leaks.

 Great refrigerator, Icemaker unnacceptable Strengths: Space, layout
Weaknesses: Icemaker
Summary: The layout of this refrigerator is great. Good visability to all compartments, handy alarm when door is left open, shelves are easily configured, and general layout is great, The freezer has a lot of usable space. However, for this price, having an icemaker that is this poor is unacceptable. It generates ice quite slowly. We have paid more for this refrigerator than the three other models TOGETHER in our 21 years of marriage, and we can't believe how poor and slow the icemaker is. I would guess it is about 1/3 as effective as any of our other two friges that had icemakers. Our Kennmore side-by-side almost never ran out of ice--except on summer days when supplying ice chests/coolers etc--then it quickly caught up. This unit--for the month of November--hardly ever has enough ice for our normal use. Icemaker is quite loud--which is acceptable, but the extreme slowness is unacceptable. If you can tolerate the 'barely-there' icemaker, this may work for you. But, if you are like us, and an icemaker is important--avoid. The poor Sears service I am receiving on this unit does not affect my opinion of the refrigerator.

Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!!
Strengths: Looks nice
Weaknesses: Never worked
Summary: Never worked. Had 2 technicians from Samsung come. They tried to replace the Motherboard, but no luck. I am now on hold w/Samsung Executive Cust Service (40mins) to demand a new one. I have lost all hope. We have not had a ref for 6.5 weeks. Unbelievable after spending 2400.00 on this junk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
