Strengths: Great build quality with smooth operation, weather-sealed; very minor barrel distortions even at 11mm end; very sharp!
Weaknesses: Nothing yet.
Summary: I've had it for 2 months now and I love it more and more! I took it to a long trip with me and the picture quality was awesome. The blue sky looked amazing. The result is even better if you put on a 72mm slim CPL. I mostly use it to shoot landscapes but it's also good for street photographs, and portraits (wedding) as well.

The only problem I found when using it with my E500 was when using the internal flash with lens hood on it the flash light was blocked at the bottom of the picture. I had to take the lens hood off, but it's not this lens's fault.

All in all, the Olympus 11-22mm offers great build quality, handling and AF speed combined with excellent optical performance. I won't travel without it. Highly recommended!

Strengths: Super wide angle to near "standard" lens
Weaknesses: I haven't found any yet!
Summary: I screwed this lens on my E-500 and have not taken it off. It is sharp and fast. A great walk-around lens. It comes with a hood and a soft case. While there is some overlap with the 14-45mm kit lens, the difference between 11mm and 14mm (22mm and 28mm in 35mm standard) is incredible. This lens is definitely worth the price.

Strengths: VERY sharp, both center & corners • Low distortion • Excellent flare resistance • Low CA's • Solid, weather & dust sealed construction • Wide variable aperture range (f/2.8-3.5)
Weaknesses: NONE
Summary: This is an absolutely outstanding ultra-wide to near normal zoom lens for Olympus E-system DSLR's. The lens has no flaws whatsoever, as far as I can tell. It exhibits excellent center and corner sharpness, even wide open, at both ends of the zoom range; has very nice contrast; negligible chromatic aberrations (CA's); and shows decent resistance to lens flare and ghostings in contra-light situations. To top it all off, it's solidly constructed and has weather and dust-resistant sealing. While it's not an inexpensive lens, it's much lower in cost than pro-level lenses of comparable quality from C & N. Two thumbs way up!!!

Strengths: Compact and rugged
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Very compact and unobtrusive lens. It has dust and splash water seals than make it very rugged piece of equipment for outdoor photography. Images are sharp and colors are great. A little pricey but worth every penny.

Strengths: Splash proof design and built to last.
Weaknesses: Just a little pricey...
Summary: This is the sharpest ZD lens I own, and I am very pleased its performance so far. I tinkered with getting the 7-14mm, but could not justify the expense. It is a well-reputed lens for the 4/3 system and now I know why. Despite the overlap with my 14-54, I consider it a valuable addition to my system.
