Strengths: Great isolation of external sound.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I had this product for about a month, and I love it. I work at an office with a lot of computer noises, and I can enjoy Miles Davis's trumpet sound totally isolated.
It fits perfectly inside my ears, and I love jogging with it.
The sound quality is great, too.
I totally recommend it.

Strengths: Isolation
Details
portability
Weaknesses: Choice of eartips
Slight microphonics
Summary: These IEM's probably have the biggest bang for the buck of all the competition. If your looking to buy these though, you may be better off just getting the ER6i especially because they come in both black and white now. ER6 may have a little less bass and less efficency, but if your using a decent source and an equalizer those problems dissappear. The isolation of these is amazing and very useful. Remember to be patient because all IEM's will be uncomfortable the first week or so. I think that you would have to get the Shure e4 or UE 5's to notice a step up from these. Forget the cheap sonys and the cheaper Shures, you wont be dissapointed here.

Strengths: Sound isolation, sound quality, lightweight.
Weaknesses: No cord winder included. Have to change filters every once in a while.
Summary: This is my second pair of these earbuds and I wouldn't buy anything else. I had the first ones for years until one of the sides stopped working. I think the wire was cut inside from improper winding. They work so well as earplugs that I'm cutting the cables from the old ones and keeping them.
Sound is great. They are also really comfortable and I don't mind wearing them for long periods of time. I usually keep them on in the plane even while sleeping.
The only down side is fact that the filters require regular changing. It's easy enough to do but it must be done every few months (6 or so for me since I don't constantly wear them). It's good to have spares since it can take a few days to get them.

Strengths: very clear
Weaknesses: bit hard to get a good seal at first
Summary: I recently got another pair to replace the ones I had for 3 years, and no they didn't break, I lost them :(
These earbuds are worth it if you commute daily via public transportation. They work as advertised, isolating the noises around you and lets you listen at a lower volume.
They have a very flat frequency response, so there is some getting use to.
The sound reproduction is awesome, very detailed and distinct left and right channels. If you are upgrading from the stock earbuds that came with an audio player than you will be in for a treat!

Strengths: They stay in your ears even when riding a motorcycle.
Weaknesses: You need to shove them really far into your ear in order to actually hear.
Summary: It would be nice if they sent a couple of other options for the ear piece instead of just the foam. I would like to recieve the 3 tier ear piece as well.

Strengths: Isolate the outside noise really well.
Do not need to turn the volume too high to hear the music clearly
Weaknesses: Very fragile
Earwax build up easily on the ear buds
Summary: I was doing my research on noise isolation ear buds/ear phones....and i narrowed down to either the bose quiet comfort 2 or these ear buds....i chose these ones because it was 1/2 the price of the bose and i want to be able to wear them while i workout or out in public (i don't think i can workout to the bose headset...too bulky and uncomfortable..and i don't want to walk around with them on) i am very happy with these ear buds so far....no problems at all....i would highly recommend them!

Strengths: Size! The noise isolation is excellent and the sound is also great!
Weaknesses: Takes awhile to adjust to the ear bud being so deep in the ear. Cord noise when it brushes against your shirt.
Summary: The noise isolation on these ear buds is phenomenal! I wore them all the way from Seoul to San Fran and literally was in a world of my own. The sound quality is also excellent, esp. if you are hooked into a pure digital source and not the airline sound system (background static and base volume too high). It took awhile to learn how to "seat" them correctly, but then they were comfortable and oh so quiet. The thin cable can cause cord noise as it brushes against clothing, but I will probably only use them on the plane where I am not moving much so no big problem. Bought them at Buy.com for $80 with an additional $30 discount for applying for a visa card. Great deal!

Poor Performance
Strengths: Sound isolation
Weaknesses: Virtually no bass, all treble. No improvement when using variations of the IPOD's EQ.
Summary: The Apple supplied ear phones with $15 Griffin snap-on earbuds sound much better. The ER-6 ISOLATOR EARBUDS are not worth the price unless you are looking for an expensive pair of ear plugs!

Strengths: Great soud
Weaknesses: No
Summary: They are very comfortable and they DO sound incredible. I love listening to my tunes on these.
They also block out sound VERY well - even more so than foam earplugs. This increases the dynamic range and lets you hear everything!

Strengths: sounds great, very sharp and clear, effectively isolates your ears, worth your money?
Weaknesses: bass is a little weak, sounds only a little better than a cheaper $50 sony earphones, worth your money?
Summary: like above, it really does sound great and makes all your music a hundred times more pleasant. It also will save your ears in the long run since it blocks out almost all the background noise so you don't have to crank it up. But compared to my prior sony earphones, it just sounds a little better, so unless youre a audio fanatic, you won't hear the difference. But it is better and the wires have better quality than the sonys which got shredded up. So basically it felt like i bought a sony earphone minus the the crappy quality build. So i would suggest if sony changes its wire quality, you should definitely get sonys instead.
