Strengths: Incredibly sharp picture - deep blacks, high resolution. An episode of CSI was too gory for me to watch in high def. Set-up was a breeze. Matte screen....again, matte screen.
Weaknesses: Not as good as my TV in Japan - which had a remote controlled pivoting base.
Summary: Excellent TV - super easy to set-up, and beautiful to look at! Also, the matte screen is excellent since I have one giant South facing window that streams in the sunlight about 5 feet from the TV. The matte screen eliminates the glare and my eye strain. The picture is incredible! This is a fully backlit TV - not some puny edge lit Samsung. This gives the TV the ability to finely tune the settings resulting in deep blacks, vivid colors and fantastic quality.
Also - can I say that Buy Dig rocks - BestBuy said they couldn't get to me for a month and a half, and Buy Dig? One week, and it was cheaper, too!
