Strengths: Comes with everything, and working.
Weaknesses: Battery life is kind of short. Outside screen not framing correctly when taking picture for myself.
Summary: I bought this phone for my wife, who refused to take any Sprint or AT&T/Cingular phone into her office since she hadn’t been able to get any signal. The Sprint tech support suggested that we pay extra to get roaming coverage so that we can “use the Verizon tower”, which is the main reason I bought this Audiovox phone.
Signal is good in her building and she can take and place phone calls any time, even in the basement. Battery life is relatively short (about 20 hours while being turned off late evening) during weekdays as the phone might have been in roaming mode all day, but is okay during weekend (about 2 full days, with regular use). We never had any incidence having the camera fired off in her purse or pocket.
I did read lots of reviews on the internet about this phone, and figured that those people who complained about not getting strong signal are not in California. So far I am happy with the phone since at least I can contact my wife any time when something comes up. The only complaint I have about the phone is that when I tried taking a picture for myself, I had to align my eyes to the upper end of the outside screen, otherwise I would show up in the bottom half of the "whole picture" in the inside screen. This is not quite a big deal for me since self-picturing is not a frequently used feature. It doesn’t have that many ring-tones Samsung delivers.
