Strengths: easy setup, comes with several blasters
Weaknesses: front built-in blaster not strong enough
Summary: This item works great with my Aeros MX-850. The range is superb. I use it to control some radio equipment in my office (second floor) from my living room on the first floor. I can easily change channels and turn on/off my satellite radio and any other remote controlled items. The front of the unit has a built in blaster, and you can also hook up cables (included) and stick individual blasters to your equipment. The built in blaster wasn't strong enough to control my Sirius radio, but a blaster cable works fine. There is a minor issue, simply that it may sometimes "glitch" and cause an inadvertent command based on the pressing of the remote, but I might need to reprogram the remote. Can't necessarily blame the base station for it. You can easily setup the receiver in the MX-850 editor software (available from universalremote.com). Will update this review if I run into any problems.
