Strengths: Inexpensive and powerful
Weaknesses: No way to archive/reload your programming to PC
Summary: First of all, this remote is great for a beginner that wants to custom program their own remote. It offers a lot of flexibility, is easy to operate, and isn't clumsy to operate like many touch screen remotes are. With a little practice and maybe some professional guidance you can make this one perform just like the ones costing 5 times as much. I use mine with the optional RF kit that is highly recommended for programming that contains long macros. One downside is that if you screw up your programming their is no way to go back without relearning what you lost. Not bad with a single command but let's say you install a new piece of equipment months after you programmed your remote. Better hope you have good memory or sound programming skills or you might have a heck of a time recreating your macros for the new device.
