Strengths: Many attachments. Almost fits anything
Weaknesses: Too many
Summary: I have not tested the solar part of it as such, but still even with the home charger it works and solves the purpose well. great for travel across countries but has to be careful with too many attachments as we may loose it. But it looks too expensive in the market.

Strengths: Flexibility
Weaknesses: many attachments to lose
Summary: Cool product comes in a nice pouch. Manual is kind of novel the way it folds out but can get annoying. Lots of attachments make it flexible but they seem easy to lose also. May not want this around kids. Attaches to Ipod nicely.

3 Star ReviewGood but solar charging is weak
Strengths: Can charge different device, compact,
Weaknesses: Pricy, solar charging takes long time
Summary: I bought this charger from buy.com and hoped it can eliminate the needs to carry different chargers for my cell phone, mp3 and gps when I travel. This product serve that purpose well, at least for me, since it comes with several adapters allowing me to plug in all my electronic stuff.

But I am not quite happy with its solar power charging. It takes really long time to charge the battery. The manual says something like 18 hours. And it must be with direct sunlight. Otherwise, its charging time seems to be forever. I understand the solar panel is not big, so the charging current from sunlight might be very small. But if the solar part doesn't work well. Maybe sticking with a non-solar version is a better choice given the big price gap.

Strengths: Great craftwork; charges from USB, power outlet and solar battery; compact
Weaknesses: Connector for Samsungs cell NOT compatible with phones A, C, D, E, X series; connectors should have an easy-to-open box; need more connectors
Summary: First thing that grabbed my attention was the perfect quality of the craftsman job which contrasts with cheap quality of China / Asia electronic products on US market. Very good job, indeed

The downsides are:

1. There was no suitable charger for my Samsung e635 cell. I guess I could have purchased it separately, but for the money I paid it should have been included. There was a charger for Samsung but did not fit the cell. Go figure

2. The connectors come with a plastic push-to close-rip-your fingers-to-open clear plastic box. Should have had an easy organizer/box for them

Other then that, tried to charge my iPod and Toshiba Gigabit player from USB and power outlets and it did a good job. Have not tried the solar battery yet, but don’t anticipate issues. So far, no complains on its performance
