Strengths: 11x zoom range, lightweight, compact and well-balanced at all focal legnths
Weaknesses: some barrel distortion at 18mm, slight pincushion distortion at 200mm, could be faster
Summary: This lens is as I said in the title, a great 'super' normal lens. If your shooting groups or candids or in between, the 18 to 200 focal length (27 to 300 mm equivalent in 35mm format) gives incredible range. The lens is well made and superbly finnished. It feels like a quality lens with optical quality to match. Colors are vibrant and the images are sharp. It may not be as good as the Nikkor lens but it IS over $400 less!
