Strengths: This sub has a great deal of depth. It's bass response is powerful and thumpy.
Weaknesses: The PV118 is heavy...about 73 lbs. Use a handtruck to move these puppies around.
Summary: 2005-07-15 20:50:00 The Peavey PV118 subwoofer is a solid investment in a bass response cab. They are quite heavy, but you get a lot of bang for your buck. Add this sub to your two way main speakers and watch the people's faces. They will start getting into the music and feeling the music even more. Buying this sub is adding to your ability to fill a large hall with sound too. You can split off the frequencies at about 120 and give your mains a whole lot more headroom for the mids and highs.
