Plasma W4200HD Good TV, but forget the customer service
Strengths: I like the picture quality for the price it is a good deal. I especially like the speakers being attached or free standing
Weaknesses: I could not operate volume or channel controls after having the TV for three weeks. Customer service has not resovled after one month.
Summary: I really liked the 42 inch plasma HD for the price point of $2,800. Speakers were nice finishing touch. Picture quality was great for this price. it has every input imaginable for all devices. However, after three weeks I could not operate using the remote control. The remote was replaced, but I could not change volume or channels unless I turned the TV off at the main switch and then turned it on at the main switch. After another month of phone calls, e-mails, and online chat, I can not get anyone to return phone calls or messages. When you get hold of someone, they tell you that they understand your frustration, but nobody can fix the problem. In summary, I like the TV when it worked and would recommend the product. However, if you have a problem, you should plan to call the TV repair person and forget the customer service department.
