Strengths: Parrot Brand Name! Ease of Install/Use. Much improved over previous models
Weaknesses: Sometimes the Voice Dial feature takes some practice
Summary: I bought this yesterday and received it this morning. (Great shipping speed Crutchfield!) It took me just over an hour to install once i had all the required tools. The power wire harness that comes with it has The yellow, red,

ground, and purple (w/black stripe) You need to be able to either solder these into the H.U.'s harness or simply splice into it. Other than that the product is extremely easy to install. The only steps left are hooking up the

mic wire, the interconnection cable and finding a mounting spot. Pairing with my LG Dare (Verizon) was extremely easy and I had no problems syncing the phonebook with the unit. Also plays Bluetooth audio very well. I am using the IDA-x100 Digital Media Receiver with this adapter. In order to use some models from 2008 you need the KWE-460E wire adapter kit. Compatible H.U.'s from 08'include CDE-9872, CDE-9874, CDE-9880R/CDE-9882Ri, CDA-988*, iDA-x001, iDA- x100, iDA-x200, iDA-x300, IVA-W202, IVA-W203, IVA-W205, IVA-W502, IVA- W505, IVA-D105, IVA-D106 Keep in mind that if you are using the Full Speed cable and not the USB to hook up the iPod you will need the new Full Speed Cable model #:KCE- 433iV. The older KCE-422i WILL NOT work on with the KCE-400BT On my receiver the iPod does not even use the full speed cable. It simply has a USB cable that bypasses this product completely so no issues there. Call quality was great and there are no echo's. Voice dialing worked flawlessly. Great product!
