1 Star ReviewDon't buy it!
Strengths: None
Weaknesses: Might blow over in a hurricane. An awful lot of trouble to run 4 extension cords. Dangerous Need to run it 15 minutes each week
Summary: 2005-08-15 13:29:06 This unit is described in Generac advertising as the "first truly DIY" standby generator. Before you order it, you had better get the installation manual. This is definitely not my idea of a do it yourself product. It will take more than the average bear to accomplish installation, but the first thing I thought of was why do it? You could easily hurt yourself or worse, and if you did accomplish it, you will have a maintenance nightmare. Also, in a multiple day outage, how practical will it be to run out 3-4 times a day to find propane canister refills?
