Strengths: low water use, cleans well, gentle on clothes
Weaknesses: none
Summary: We bought this to replace our 14 year old standard washer. This was a huge improvement! It uses much less water and the clothes come out clean. Be sure to use a detergent designed for high-efficiency washers though. Our old washer was wearing out the clothes quickly. This one is very gentle and is not showing any signs of wear on the clothes. I wish we would have replaced our old washer sooner. Another benefit of this washer is that it spins the clothes and gets most of the water out before putting in the dryer. Drying time was cut in half or more. This saves money too. You won't be sorry if you buy this!

Strengths: So many it would take more than a paragraph to write them all. To start with it uses much less water. The spin cycle is wonderful - cuts drying time in half and the clothes come out much cleaner.
Weaknesses: Haven't found any yet.
Summary: My husband was extremely skeptical of buying a front load washer. The prices are astronomical and he could not see spending twice as much money on a washer that will probably only last 5 to 10 years. We researched the different brands and after reading the reviews on the Frigidare we decided to go for it. The price sold him but what really sold me was my grandson had spilled something like chocolate sauce on a brand new pullover. His mother couldn't get it out. I used several different stain remover products and rubbed and rubbed to no avail. I decided to just throw it in the washer to see what would happen. I couldn't believe my eyes when I pulled the shirt out - NO STAINS! This washer is also so quiet you may forget you have it running. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone looking for a front loader. For the price and quality you can't beat this model.

Strengths: Holds large capacity, quieter than prev. washer.
Weaknesses: Really need the pedestal as you have to bend way down to reach inside, or sit on the floor.
Summary: 2006-08-27 15:47:06 Have only had washer a couple of weeks, but I do like it, as does my husband. Saving money on electricity, water and soap. Will have to get the pedestal to save my back.
