Strengths: It is easy to install and locks solid into place.
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: It does the job well by allowing the 52mm teleconverter lens to attach to my Canon A70 camera. It seems to lock solid to the face of the camera and doesn't flex to upset the focal point.

Strengths: Durable, Easy to Use
Weaknesses: None that I've encountered
Summary: I did'nt think I'd use this product this often. It's a wonderful way to view the filters effects instantly at differant appetures and shutter speeds using each one to the fullest effect. I share the 52mm filters between my digital and my SLR that both have 52mm threads so it's an ideal product for my digital. All you need to do to attach the product to your Canon A60/A70 and you're done. You can attach various lenses that I have yet to experiment with in addition to filters. It's an overall wonderful product and I'm thrilled it's part of my collection.

Strengths: snaps on firmly and easily
Weaknesses: very overpriced for it's purpose, adds bulk to camera
Summary: 2004-12-09 18:04:26 Easy to put on and remove, this adapter allows the addition of specialty add-on lenses. I do a lot of close-up work, and I was able to get a set (of 4) 52mm macro lenses for 30 bucks that helps with focus, blur reduction and image creation.

Strengths: simple and easy to use. accepts 52mm lense filters and accessories from my 35mm camera collection.
Weaknesses: when combined with the wide angle or tele lenses, the camera become much more bulky.
Summary: A simple design whereas the adapter mounts over the camera's lens at the base. I can use the higher quality 52mm filters from my 35mm camera collection on this camera now. The adapter with a 52mm filter makes a nice protective shield over the entire lens assembly. When using the wide angle or tele adapters, you have to mount them onto this adapter. This makes the overall camera much more bulky and may not fit camera bags.

Strengths: It works.
Weaknesses: It is a very over priced plastic screw on adapter that does nothing more than allow for the attachment of the wide angle or telephoto lens accessory.
Summary: 2004-08-02 09:34:50 The wide angle or telephoto lens should be equipped with the ability to screw onto the camera lens directly without this plastic add-on adapter. This adapter is nothing more than a round piece of plastic that is threaded on both ends. It has no moving parts, or lens.

Lens adapter for Canon A60, A70, A75, A85 and A95. ...
Strengths: Easy to install.
Weaknesses: Overpriced for plastic material.
Summary: Lens adapter for Canon A60, A70, A75, A85 and A95. It allows the P&S camera to accept 52mm filter. The plastic ring that comes with the camera has to be removed in order to install this adapter. May cause vignette if flash used. Other than that, it does the job.

Strengths: Required to add lenses to Canon A70. Installs/removes very easily
Weaknesses: Increases the bulk of the camera
Summary: Bought this so that I could add additional optical zoom to my canon A70. To use, remove the plastic trim ring around the lens, line up the red dots, and turn the lens adapter until it locks in. Accessories simply thread onto the adapter.
