Strengths: All the features you would want - MP3 player, FM radio and recorder, Voice recorder using builtin mic, line-in recorder (both to MP3), plus 1000 backlight colors and themes, no software needed.
Weaknesses: Expensive (Bought 512MB for 139.99)
Summary: This is a great little player. Some comments after quite heavy usage in two weeks:
- The player is comfortable to hold (for my medium sized hands), though using the two rocker buttons on either side takes some getting used to. But navigation becomes a breeze once you get used to the buttons
- Great interface - shortcut buttons for adding bookmarks and recording make navigation pretty good
- You would need to play around with the microphone settings for it to record well off the builtin mic. If you have an external mic, just plug it into the line in connector and you're good to go.
- You can use explorer to drag and drop music into the player, or use the included program from jetaudio
- Some of the 1000 backlight colors may not be differentiable, but it does offer a large number of alternatives
- Customizable equalizers to keep everyone happy
