Strengths: Solid product from a reputable manufacturer, with a lifetime warranty.
Weaknesses: Slow transfer speed.
Summary: I used this card extensively the last few days right after receiving it in the mail. The card was manufactured in the USA and has a lifetime warranty. The 12X (1.8 MB/s max) speed was a bit of initial concern but it performed well enough in my 8 mega pixel camera. A higher speed card would work better in continuous mode shooting. However, given the low after rebate price, I cannot really complain much. When the card is filled, it would take close to 5 minutes to transfer the pictures onto the computer using a memory card reader. So be patient.

Strengths: Works fine. good speed

Summary: This card is a decent speed 12x and works fine. Good price after rebate. Works well with figital cameras and MP3 players. I have a few of these cards. I think they are better than Kingston CF cards.

Strengths: Excellent value
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I bought this card to use with my Nikon Coolpix 800. I have been using 64MB cards but kept having to exchange them, even with a mere 2 megapixel camera. This card (512 MB) is making my life much simpler.

Strengths: Great Price
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I upgraded from SanDisk 256mb to the Lexar 512mb for the added capacity and the the 12x speed. So far I have noticed pictures seem to store faster..I am able to take faster pictures. Recalling pictures from memory also seems faster. Overall satisfied.

Strengths: Large space, price, rebates
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: CF are always cheaper. I also use memory stick for my digital camera, Memory sticks are 4 times more costly than CFs.

This CF, after rebate, cost me about $20.

It works fine..

Strengths: Large memory card and low price
Weaknesses: Not sure yet
Summary: Very good Price when I buy this at Amazon.Coz it is only 20 after rebate.Through my 2MP mini DC seems not need 512 MB.But the price is so attractive that I still buy it.Anyway,I have to say that the upload speed is not very high, not as fast as my new brought SD card,or even my old CF one.But if you donn't care this,it is still a very good choice for a DC

Strengths: Fast card, plenty of memory for the price, reliable
Weaknesses: n/a
Summary: This card screams. Much faster than the 32mb card that came with my Canon S410. At the highest resolution setting on my S410, this card holds 247 pictures. In quick tests with this card and the Canon 32mb CF card, the quickness of the Lexar is apparent. Highly recommend!!

Strengths: This product works great and does what it is suppose to do.
Weaknesses: No weaknesses that I have found.
Summary: Used in my one year old Canon S400 (digital Elph) camera. This replaced two 128MB CompactFlash Cards. What a difference! I take movies mostly and some photographs with it.

Strengths: Good Price
Weaknesses: Fairly slow card compared to what's available on the market.
Summary: Great bang for your buck. This may not be the fastest card, but for $82 for a 512 MB card...it's a very very very very very very very very good deal.

2 Star ReviewCF card from Lexar
Strengths: Big well known mfg and they did make good on the lifetime warranty. After a lot of my time. And finding the original receipt.
Weaknesses: I own many CF cards. The only brand that has failed are Lexar. I have had 4 Lexar CF cards fail. For $8 I should have just bought new, and saved much time.
Summary: Based on my personal experience over the past 10-12 years or so - I will not purchase the Lexar brand. Any other brand I have purchased has worked well and long. ie SimpleTech Transcend SanDisk

Strengths: Decent storage space for a 4 MP camera.
Weaknesses: Slower xfer speeds
Summary: Good extra cards for cameras. For the price it can't be beat. If you shooting larger or RAW images, you may want to consider getting a faster card as it will need less "lag time" in between shots.

Strengths: Low Price, Lifetime Warranty
Weaknesses: None noted.
Summary: Worked perfectly right out of the box. I have been using it almost daily in my digital camera for over a month now, no problems. The speed is just as quick as the three other CF cards I've owned, all Viking products. Price was ~$10 after rebates, product was 100% worth the price.

Strengths: Good price, reputable brand, lifetime warranty
Weaknesses: Writing/transfer speed is so so.
Summary: I bought this card through Amazon.com due attractive price and brand name recognition. I have been using it in my NIKON 4300. I have taken about 200 shots and have noticed only slight speed improvement over the Kingston and Viking CF 4X cards that I have been using. I expected this card to be three times as fact, but I did not see as much improvement. I would still recommend it for those for whom transfer speed is not as important. Overall, it is a decent card with average speed.

Strengths: 1. Very affordable. Though canon, fuji, olympus make similar products, they are also ver expensive. 2. Reliable. I did not encounter errors so far.
Weaknesses: The speed may not reach what it claims (12x).
Summary: Generally speaking, I am happy with this card. It is reliable and affordable. I compared it with the 36Mb Canon CF that came with my powershot a70, but I did not see much improvements in speed. For the same subject I tried (every other things the same),it took my Canon 36Mb CF 4 blinks to take the pic, while it took 3 blinks on the Lexar 512Mb. Well, I am not a professional photographer, and I can live with that speed!

Recommended? yes.
