Strengths: 900 MHz doesn't interfere with wireless router; superb voice quality; longer talk time than most
Weaknesses: No answering machine
Summary: I found this to be the best of the non answering machine types in Consumer Reports. I try to buy from them whenever possible, and they haven't steered me wrong yet. This is the 2nd Panasonic phone I've bought, and the original Panasonic was at the top of Consumer Reports as well. Great value!

Strengths: Easy to use, good design and low price
Weaknesses: 900MHz... 2.4GHz and better out there
Summary: This phone is good for anyone who looking for easy to use coreless phone with caller ID ( does not need an answering phone).

I have Panasonic VCR, DVD player, and FAX. I like all of them, and don't have any problem. I trust bland name Panasonic, and I will continue to buy products from them.

Strengths: Name brand, ease of use, good clarity.
Weaknesses: Old technology (900 MHz.)
Summary: If you are looking for an affordable cordless without all the bells and whistles this is the one. Good sound quality, long battery life, ease of use all add up to a great value.

2 Star Reviewgood while it lasted but
Strengths: simple easy to use
Weaknesses: speaker died, LCD too dim
Summary: speaker dead after couple years use - cheaper to buy a new phone (VTech ia5824?)than to fix

Phone still dials and receives but I hear only dead silence - Panasonic tech said speaker is dead. Nothing built to last nowadays

Strengths: Name brand, good quality, neat design, caller id, low price
Weaknesses: 900 MHz (not a state of the art 2.4 GHz)
Summary: Great Panasonic cordless phone for a low price at a fine retailer (6th Ave). I have had several cordless phones and most of them start getting intermitent communication failures after 1 year. The only ones that have lasted for many years are Panasonic (I still use one I purchased in 1995). A couple of nice features: you can place the headset on the cradle either face down or up (so you can see who is calling). You can dial like a cell phone by pressing the numbers, veryfing on the screen and then pressing the ON button. It is a no brainer

Strengths: Simple and easy to use.
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: I have bought this product because I needed simple and easy to use phone with no answering system. The caller id feature was the only condition for me.

I like products from Panasonic in general and I use it for quite sometime.

I enjoy this product and quality of sound is pretty good.

Strengths: its a great phone, easy to use and navigate
Weaknesses: the phone is 900 mhz but not a problem thus far
Summary: 2003-11-25 07:04:27 Great phone for the price and was mentioned in consumer reports as a best buy. Have been researching phones for some time. 900 mhz is still very good and the quality and reception are great. No problems thus far.
