Strengths: Strong Signal Strenght, Easy User Interface
Weaknesses: non removable antenna, no external antenna option
Summary: Very Good product for the price. Would highly recommend to others getting a wireless card. The set up of the unit was simple and straightforward.

Strengths: Setup with no problems. I'm using it with Mandriva 2006 Linux and it works very well.
Weaknesses: None that I have experienced.
Summary: I was looking for a wireless solution for Linux that would give me no problems in finding a driver or setting up for use. The NetGear WG511 does that quite well.

Strengths: good signal strength; low price; WPA compatiable
Weaknesses: Have to get the latest driverfrom Netgear web site; otherwise, it won't work.
Summary: Low price! Pretty good GUI interface. The best part is strong signal pickup. I placed my wireless router at the living room, and I can get good signal at my second-floor bedroom. Netgear router sucks though! I would recommend a Linksys router.

Strengths: Easy to use/install, picks up signals at a distance
Weaknesses: drains battery faster, though all do that
Summary: I just bought this as my first wireless card. Did a lot of research, and netgear has a really good reputation. This card worked great out-of-the-box, with easy installation instructions. Surprisingly I picked I picked up 3 access points around my neighborhood, all over 200 ft away. I haven't tried it with a G network yet, but works great with the B WAP's so far. Highly recommend.

3 Star ReviewI'm going to have to go out and buy another brand ...
Strengths: Works well with high signal strength.
Weaknesses: Uses way to much power and saps my laptop usage time on battery to 1/3 of normal time.
Summary: I'm going to have to go out and buy another brand or downgrade to 11b because of the excessive power usage of this card. To use it requires that my laptop be plugged in.
