Strengths: Small size, rubberized coatings, auto sport focus
Weaknesses: rear eyepiece protecter doesn't fit on when shield are extended.
Summary: Having already owned a pair of 7x50 Ralleye Binoculars from Steiner I was expecting the same thing in terms of size and heft when I ordered these. Although the body looks similar, the Safari's are smaller and lighter. They don't feel as substantial as the some of Steiner's mid range offerings. The clarity and sport auto focus are nice and I don't have any complaints about the visual quality. Other then the fact they may not last as long as some of the other models Steiner makes, the only other complaint I have is that the rear eye cups need to be flipped down in order to place the protector on, which is a hassle. I like the Steiner's and got a good price on these so I'm Satisfied. Just don't expect them to be the same as the more expensive versions Steiner makes.
