Other manfuactures charge around $50-65 and refills are cheaper. If you are in business and have others using equipement I say pay the extra money to minizmie the things that do and can go wrong, If you are doing the refilling or using the printer the other cartridges may be the way to go. More economical than ink jet catridges. Weaknesses: Black only, no color, which I seldom need. Summary: I use the Q2613X Toner Catridge with my HP Laserjet 1300 printer. The print quality is very sharp. The pages roll off one after another with no delay. Toner catridge from HP always reliably works. The printer has a small footprint. Great for home or a small office. I got a knockoff, and it didn't last very long, and it leaked when I took it out! It was a terrible mess. So I bought this authentic HP toner and had no problems. It was definitely worth it. While I cringe at the price every time I have to order a new cartridge, I feel it is worth it to avoid the inherent problems associated with aftermarket refill cartridges. Summary: It does what a toner cartridge is supposed to do - it prints. I've had several of these and they always print about 4,000 pages - usually a few hundred more. Until the very end, when it is running low, you get quality prints. Near the end, you can shake the toner to get a few more pages printed. I've never had a problem with these toner cartridges.
