Summary: make sure like with any heavy object that it is properly secured into the ceiling. Good cable management and quality hardware. Also ensure that you purchase the correct mount as different mounts are available for different projectors. Remember that the projector needs to be positioned either slightly below or slightly above the screen. A ceiling mount is the better alternative if you combine the projector with a screen as a high-mounted projector will produce a brighter image at a normal viewing height than a table-mount installation.
