Strengths: CD/MD changer controls. 2volt preamp output. CD Text display capability.
Weaknesses: One pair of preamp output (therefore no fader). Slightly awkward disc changing buttons (radio presets 1 & 2), but you get used to it.
Summary: A good, basic, AM/FM, cassette radio, with CD/MD changer ability. This is a replacement to a high end AM/FM/CD radio with CD/MD changer ability. I do miss some of the high end features (ie. custom naming of radio stations and CD title scrolling LIST feature), but don't miss the huge price difference.

Strengths: I use audio cassettes for my work and I needed to have a player in my vehicle. The Equalizer and CD changer controls is simple and easy to use.
Weaknesses: The silver, if it is a black color, would look simpler and more neutral. Also, the radio gets interference from going under freeway bridges. No Dolby.
Summary: I have had the vehicle for 12 years, The unit is not as fancy as what came on the vehicle, but, The CD changer controls is better than what came with the vehicle. I would have loved to get knobs instead of the control buttons, but its OK if you don't use them much.
