    Product Experience:

Strengths: - Simple and very effective buttons/controls layout - Very cool design, "gun metal chrome" w/ blue illumination - Display is fully dot-matrix and very impressive. - Sirius satellite ready (add on)
Weaknesses: - Audio cuts out briefly when adjusting steps on bass/treble - MP3 title slowly prints across screen upon loading - Buttons around knob easily pressed by accident during volume adjustment
Summary: This stereo cannot be truely be appreciated until you actually see it in action. Aside from the beautiful "gun metal chrome" theme, the fully usable dot matrix display of this size is unseen on other units in this price range.

Many of the visual transitions when switching between different sources use tasteful materializing of text and graphics. However, there is a slight delay when switching, which might not be favorable to the impatient. You can choose from 5 different display movies, or a spectrum analyzer. Each movie runs for about 15 seconds at 15 frames per second.

Having both MP3 and WMA compatibility is very handy, as my music collection has a variety of both. Supports long filenames (up to 64 characters) and 31 other special characters (like Ä, ü, Ö, etc). 999 files total (max), 255 files per folder (max) with 255 folders (max).

Out of the many display screens to choose from, there is only 1 screen that shows the MP3 folder and file name (and the text is small and somewhat difficult to see). I would have prefered 1 more screen, with larger text that scrolls more than just once.

The built-in amplifier is very clean, and the pre-amp outs are rated at 5V, which is one of the highest to date. Multiple CD changers can be controlled with an add-on unit.

Out of the many different stereos I have recently compared and demoed, I believe this unit is the best looking, best featured, easiest to use CD/MP3 reciever currently available for this price.
