Strengths: Excellent screen
Great sound quality
Great skip resistance
XM ready
Weaknesses: Configuration and Audio prefferences are a bit confusing at first.
Pull keys don't "pull" very well.
ATT is only on remote
Summary: Item was as easy to install as any factory cd player. However, the keys for it aren't very good for pulling it out of the dash. You put them in, grab part of the cd player that isn't the face plate and pull. Easy if you know that. Wiring was a sinch. The only snag was that the wire to turn the remote amp on/off as well as extend/retract the antenna was labeled 'remote'. I soon found out what the 'remote' wire meant in the manual however. Honda Accords don't have a wiring pin for the dash dim wire, so I don't know how dim it goes. It is almost too bright for night driving. Cheap solution: pull down the face like you are ejecting a cd. This turns off the face plate light, but music still plays. The only other problem I have is that the ATT (turns volume down by 90%, when you hit it, it turns it up by 90%, great for drive thru's) is only on the remote control. The remote is handy. You can do almost everything you can do on the face plate (plus the ATT button). The function and audio menus are definitely a bit weird at first. The navigation has 4 buttons (2 axis) which makes it awesome for navigating menus, but you must remember that 2nd axis. The Audio EQ was completely strange to me, however this gives you great flexibility with the EQ balance, study the manual on the EQ. The presets should do you just find though. Overall, I love this player, the strengths overcome any and all of its weeknesses.
