Strengths: The GMA-4020 has a high versatility to cost ratio; It's ability to burn to three of the five DVD formats makes it a strong contender in the DVD writer catagory.
Weaknesses: The LG is a little slow in the CD burning and DVD playing area...but what to be expected, perfection?
Summary: I have used several LG disk drives and I am very comfortable in saying that its dependability is unparralled. LG is good about posting firmware updates on the LG website, so one can be sure to have the best possible performance regardless of the date of purchase. Installation is a snap-any person that has ever had the gall to open a PC's case should be able to execute the install with minimal pain. The LG is a winner
