Strengths: 100% Carbon fiber+magnesium, very sturdy, central column goes vertical in seconds, integrated leveling spirit bubble
Weaknesses: pricey, no leg warmers, load capacity limited to 11lbs
Summary: I got this one, because it's one of only a few on the market that have right locks (I hate Gitzo type locks that most carbon tripods have). The center column that goes vertical is very sturdy and convenient. Works great with Kirk BH-3 or any Markins ballheads.

Strengths: Light, sturdy
Weaknesses: Pricy
Summary: This tripod is much lighter than Bogen 3221 I've already own. Adding a Markins Q3 ballhead still weigh less than 3221 legs alone. So light that make you think it's cheap plastic:) I would not hesitate to bring it with me on a trip. And it can support a 6lbs 4x5 Arca camera with no problem. I do not like the bubble leveler, I think it's useless.
