Philamour from CA Member Since: Mar 2002 View Member's: Reviews	Good budget laptop Strengths: Slim, frugle, and light-weight (compared with many other model at this level Weaknesses: AMD Process creates more heat, 1GB of memory Summary: This is a good budget laptop that can be had at $399 or lower. Though some complains about the hinge that is easy to break off, but my touch on the case feels the build is solid enough for heavy use of a couple of years. Perfect everyday notebook with plenty of features like: DVD Writer with Lightscribe, 160GB HD, much more ... Weaknesses: None of the pre-installed software including Windows Vista are on disk. Huge amount of preloaded programs which only slowed down performance. Summary: An extremely economic notebook for the budget conscious consumer. Perfect for students or anyone that needs a notebook computer, without the need for "latest and greatest" components. Only complaint would be all the trial software preloaded on the system which I found useless. After cleaning up and deleting unnecessary software, not only freed up quite a bit of hard drive space, but system seems to run a bit faster as well! 160GB SATA hard drive, AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile processor @ 1.9GHz, slick 15.4" LCD Display w/ BrightView Technology + many more features makes this an awesome buy! Summary: This computer offers a great value. With its price tag similar to a Celeron laptop, you get a lot more from Compaq that are packed into this lovely machine. Fast processor, big hard drive, and crystal clear display. The only think that I don't like too much is the glass cover for the LCD screen - it makes a lot of glare under sunlight. Weaknesses: small memory Summary: It has Turion 64 X2 CPU and i think it is faster than In tel Core 2 Duo and it is cheaper. Screen is very bright and It is well made tough laptop.
