Summary: Don't let the sales person talk you into the New Steam Clean feature or Maytag has been bought by Whirlpool so it is better now.
I've had this dishwasher 30 days and despise it. Wet dishes, no matter how long I let them remain after the cycle completes, no matter how much I have tried to load items different ways. I would be better off to hand wash and let air dry then use this Maytag. It would also be quicker.
The manual & website tell you nothing. Wet dishes problem, it states check rinse aid. There is no timer to tell you length of time for any cycle..but does state up to 3.5 for some cycles. 15 lights, many combinations, you are to guess how long it will take. How do I lock it? What does the #3 stand for? Anyone's guess.
We've had cups come out with particles of food inside of them! We rinse all our dishes 1st with litte remaining on them. I'd hate to see if we loaded it with food remaining on our plates as it states has food chopper/grinder.
When children complain or have to ask if the dishes are clean in the dishwasher, it is time to search for a different brand.
