 Headset has an unfortunate tendency to disconnect ... Strengths: Cheap BT solution; nice looking; easy to pair with phone; sturdy, light; when it works, it works!
Weaknesses: Disconnects, poor sound quality with phone in pocket, somewhat uncomfortable, voice recognition doesn't work as well as it should
Summary: 2005-06-30 14:35:17 Headset has an unfortunate tendency to disconnect from my T637 and takes a while to reconnect... I always feel I'll miss the call in the time the headset takes to recognize it. Sometimes the voice dial doesn't work as well as I know it should... gets somewhat frustrating, but that could be because of the next problem: sound quality somewhat garbled with the phone in my pocket, others have to constantly tell me to "speak louder" when it's acting up. Sometimes I have to hold the phone right near my ear... what's the point of the headset then? However, when it decides to work properly it's pretty good. Not bad for around $25.

Strengths: Small and lightweight. easy to pair with cellphone. comes with additional USB charging cable. Keeps persistent connection.
Weaknesses: LED is too bright and distracting. Came with ear hook different from the one shown on buy.com.
Summary: It is very good for the price. Fitting is not comfortable for continuous long duration use. To minimize brightness of LED, I applied permanent marker that does the trick for me. It does not yet work with computer. I do not see any services to offered by the device on the computer. I have Windows XP Professional SP2.

Strengths: Light weight, good value, easy to use and fits well (in my ear).
Weaknesses: Slight delay in connectivity with my Treo when headset is initially turned on.
Summary: This headset is used with my Treo 650 and I am very pleased with it. It's faily well built, light weight and for this price, there's really not much to complain about. One thing to note is when the headset is initially being configured with your phone, be sure to hold down the multi-function button on the headset until you see BOTH blue flashing light and the red light. Might take 15-20 secs.

Strengths: Great reception, light weight, fancy design, affordable price
Weaknesses: so so battery life, the quality of the materials are not too good
Summary: This is a good bluetooth headset in this price range. It only took me 10 sec. to setup with my cell phone. However, it's a little bit tricky to connect to my PC, I finally figured out that's the software problem of the windows bluetooth driver. Now I can easily use it to talk via MSN and Skype. Overall, it's a great buy for the entry level bluetooth headset.

Strengths: Consistently connects right up, comes with supplied lanyard, so I can leave it hanging from my neck when not in use, light, unobtrusive and easy to carry in a pocket
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: I bought the IOGear GBE201W7 a month ago on sale at Buy.com. I only use it while driving, with a Nokia 3660. So far, no problems at all. I can answer the phone, dial the last person called, and use voice tags to place calls. Although I had a fair amount of difficulty using my bluetooth dongle (not an IOGear) to synch my phone with my PC (now I've switched to synching the 3660 by using infared - much much easier), the IOGear headset connects right away and has not yet "spontaneously" disconnected. It's pretty convenient, as I leave it dangling from my neck (on a supplied lanyard/rope) rather than leave it in my ear. When the phone rings, I put it in my ear and press a button to answer the call.

Strengths: Light weight and very good battery life
Weaknesses: too small
Summary: It's a great bluetooth headset in this price range. I'm very satisfied its battery life -- I'm not a heavy headset user, and I only use it when I drive -- It took me 2 weeks to run out first charge.

Strengths: Lightweight, comfortable, good clarity, not QUITE as geeky looking as some.
Weaknesses: None found so far (read the directions!)
Summary: This works just as it says it would. The conversations I have had have all been clear and no complaints from either party about distortion. It is lightweight and not uncomfortable at all. I wear glasses, and they do not interfere with each other. Might be I am just lucky in that regard. So far, battery life has been good, although I do not use it that much either. The instructions are clear and understandable, but ya gotta read 'em. You guys know who I am speaking to. This is an excellent buy, I did some shopping around, and there are more expensive models for sure, and cheaper ones also. I am very happy with this purchase.

Strengths: Great Connectivity and talk time
Weaknesses: None So far.
Summary: This product is awesome. I was easily able to connect it to my motorola cell phone. I like the usb charger, it's fantastic. I can easily recharge it connecting it to my laptop while on the go.

Strengths: Convinient

Summary: Great headset. But it's a bit heavy. So I can not use it long for one time. But it's convienient. Now I can do anything when I also want to listen to the music and don't bother others.

 Cute and useful, but with some problems Strengths: 1. Small and cute
2. Easy to use (Mine is used with Sony T637)
3. Good usable range
4. Very clear for the user of it
Weaknesses: 1. The annoying blue light
2. The button response is slow, sometimes makes me confused
3. The other user can hear clearly the radio transmition noise
Summary: 2005-07-06 18:15:52 If you can buy it for less than $30, then a good high-tech toy to play with. Otherwise, pay more and get a better one for serious user.
Also, try it with other people before put it to serious use. If the other side can hear the annoying radio noise, don't use it!

Not Bad For The Price
Strengths: Easy Set Up And Synch, Small And Light
Weaknesses: Sound Is Ok
Summary: This is an good headset for the price. The battery life is really good. It's small in size and light weight. The set up and synch with my cellphone was quite easy. The sound qaulity is good. So far it's working fine from last 7 weeks. Overall I am satisfied for the price I paid.

Execllent Price but Ok Quality

Trouble when using with SKYPE
Strengths: inexpensive
Weaknesses: other party cannot hear me periodically when using SKYPE
Summary: I had to go through the pairing twice with my computer to get the computer to see the services offered by the headset and connect to it. Once paired, no problems using the headset with SKYPE until 5-20 minutes into a converstaion. Then other party cannot hear me. This problem does not happen when SKYPE is used with a regular wired headset on my computer. Also, noticed that the sound quality heard by other party varries greatly depending on slight changes in the angle at which the headset is worn.

Strengths: Clear incoming and outgoing sound and very comfortable around the ear. I would definitely purchase again.
Weaknesses: No warning when the Bluetooth needs to be recharged. Also, as silly as this may sound...how do you use the neckstrap. This really should have come with better instructions. The neckstrap looks like a

Strengths: Great Price for a bluetooth headset
Weaknesses: None so Far
Summary: This is a awesome bluetooth for its price range. Very easy to set-up with my cell phone. Battery life is alright with around 4 hours. however, it doesn't fit perfect with my ear.
