Summary: OVERALL I HAVE BEEN SATISFIED WITH THE PDR-2300 ;AFTER ALL I BELIEVE IT WAS WHAT I NEEDED IN A DIGITAL CAMERA. I REALIZE IT MAY NOT SUIT THE MORE PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY BUFF. Strengths: price-but this is a good example of "you get what you pay for" here. Weaknesses: battery life and general bulkiness of camera if using telephoto or wide angle lenses or any filters such as UV or polarizing filters. Summary: I sent my camera and accessories back to Toshiba today. Luckily, Toshiba Direct is quite decent about taking things back. I have had the camera about three weeks and have given up on it. I replaced it with a Minolta DiMage Xi, which has a slightly higher megapixel count (3 vs. 2 mp) but is very compact and easy to use. I am very happy with my new choice having just come back from a business trip to the U.K. where it performed admirably! 75% of People (3/4) found this review helpful.
