Strengths: performance for price and pci express compatibility
Weaknesses: none
Summary: this card has performed exceptionally well so far...i cannot tell you how beautifully the card has changed the way my games have played since upgrading but i will give it a try...the frames rendered and the quality of the graphics have exceeded those of my previous ati 9600. its not up there in comparison to the leadtek 6800gt or the ati x800xt that i used before but most games do not utilize the full capabilities of newer video cards and even if they could...the rest of the systems (cpu, motherboard, etc...) can become the new bottleneck for their systems. there is no additional power link necessary on this compared to the 6800's and even though the heatsink & fan arent as big as leadtek's, that can be rectified with a well placed cooler or exhaust fan...the dual dvi ports are a plus...it comes with agp converters for the monitors as well as the hdtv converter....

if you are on a budget and arent willing to plunk 350 or more on the 6800 gt's or the x800xt...this is well worth it since as i stated before, not all games can utilize the full capacities of a video card...that being said...you still save yourself upwards of 150 to upgrade in the future if you still feel the card is not up to par with newer games...however, as the newer cards come out and as pci express takes over...expect the prices to drop a little bit so you may want to hold out on buying now and wait a little to see what crops up.

as the specs indicate, this is a pci express video card meaning that as newer systems utilize or implement the benefits of a pci express config on their parts, you will still be able to use this card so you wont be left too far behind in terms of upgrades. it is also sli compatible to which i am too poor to utilize or test

dont forget...LIFETIME WARRANTY...assuming you dont mess with it...no other company i can think of can offer that...this by itself says something about the card...that the company is confident enough of the cards quality & capabilities that they are willing to offer a lifetime warranty...this can only mean that they dont expect it to break on you...

ive purchase 4 video cards in the span of 5 months...the leadtek 6800 gt, bfg 6600 gt agp, bfg 6600 gt pci-e and the ati x800xt. as far as i could see, the difference in gaming between the x800xt and the 6800gt was slightly in favor of the x800xt...could be that my system is a bottleneck so i really cannot tell but comparing with the 6600's, obviously the x800 & 6800 are better. but for about half the price the 6600 is a great deal given that it still performs quite well given the price. i chose to stay with the bfg 6600 gt pci-e for the pci-e config itself. i don't expect to upgrade the video card in the near future so the only parts i may replace are my soltek sl-k890pro 939 & my amd 64 3000.

Strengths: PCI-E... very well priced solution. Lifetime warranty and overclocked as well.
Weaknesses: 128MB if you are trying to play at higher resolutions, might want to try a different card.
Summary: Very solid card. I was using an ATi X700 Pro card before this. I guess when factoring prices, the two cards are competing one on one. Overall, this card absolutely blows away the X700 Pro. I have tried it with a lot of the Half Life 2 games (such as Counter Strike Source) and it runs them very smoothly. It's also a great performer in Battlefield 2. Sure the 128MB is the bottleneck on this card but if you are like me and play at lower resolutions => 1024x768, it is just fine.

Strengths: Lifetime Warranty, Factory Overclocked.
Weaknesses: 128 MB, Loud Fan (or sensitive ears :)
Summary: Excellent card in its class, if you not ready to shell out on 8 series yet. I'm not a gamer and have no interest in 3dMark scores and for $50 I paid TigerD, is a max I'm willing to spend on a graphic card, I'm very happy with it. You can't beat a BFG Lifetime warranty as well.

3 Star ReviewGood while it lasted
Strengths: good mid range card that is a balance between price and performance
Weaknesses: after about a year of use ended up sending it back because of a problem with green and purple polygons all over the screen
Summary: Had this card for over a year and it ran BF2, COD2, Star Wars Empire at War, Oblivion, & BFME II fine. Then one day I started having the problem with the polygons. I'm sending it in tomorrow and will let you all know how RMA goes. Still recommened the card for those that don't want to break the bank and still run games like the ones I listed before. You won't be able to run them on their highest settings (BF2 ran on Medium and Optimal system settings were fair at best for COD2) but you'll at least be playing these great new games. Personally I'm upgrading to a 7900 GTX asap but the card is good I think my problem is rare but just wanted to spread the word.
