Weaknesses: You have to know to hold the camera button in half way for a long time before you get a green light to shoot your photo. The user manul doesn't mention this. Strengths: Consolidates a compact camera with a voice recorder a la cellphone for two-in-one hardware convenience. Weaknesses: If you want IPOD-like capacity then this isn't for you. Summary: There is no need to buy accessories given this item comes with leather case, lanyard, dual-earbuds and a download USB cable. Strengths: ease of use, compact, good voice recording, adequate pictures Weaknesses: NA Summary: I use the photos to document my on site inspections. The handy size is easy to carry and keep with me. I can easily record notes and pictures and then transfer them to my computer with the included usb cable and software. Pictures are not great quality but are good provide the overall detail I need. Weaknesses: Poor resolution Summary: This is a nice little recorder that has a barely adequate camera for reference shots only. Record both audio and visual notes with the Olympus W-10 Digital Recorder with Visual Indexing instead. you can take a quick shot AND record a voice message to accompany the picture, simply attach the audio/image file to an e-mail, and away you go.
