Strengths: Holds 5 discs at once. Plays MP3s from both CD-R and CD-RW. Controls are easy to use. Sounds great!
Weaknesses: Unit is deeper than any of my other components - doesn't fit well in my stereo cabinet with the doors closed.
Summary: This is a great unit! Lots of features and easy to use. Basic functions are available with the front-panel controls, and the advanced features are accesses through the remote. Features like random play and repeat allow for extended radio-type listening, without the talk and commercials. Plays HDCDs, regular CDs, and MP3s (on CD-Rs or CD-RWs). With 5 CDs with MP3s, you can have 40+ hours of music loaded without having to change discs.

1 Star ReviewThis unit can't even fast forward to the next trac ...
Strengths: none
Weaknesses: The Denon engineers that put this POS on the market should be ashamed of themselves (and I'm an EE). The unit skips when near a close by speaker. Twenty year old Sony unit don't do that!
Summary: 2005-01-07 10:42:49 This unit can't even fast forward to the next track!!! If you are unfortunate enough to own one of these -- try hitting the> > button while you are listening to a track and see what happens -- really pathethic. The worst piece of electronic crap that I've ever see in my lifetime.
