Strengths: multi tasks, plain paper, color, price is very reasonable, easy to install.
Weaknesses: print quality is very poor. Very slow in speed. very noisy. Shaky when print.
Summary: I bought my from local OfficeMax because they honor the low price garranty. Since Officedepot.com is the lowest one($248.28), OfficeMax was willing to match the price and pay 115% of the different back too! Plus they have $50 mail-in rebate...so bring this machine down to about $190 after rebate. I have been shopping for the multi-function copy machine. I compare this one to HP 6110($269 at Costco.com). Overall because of the price, I decided to buy Brother MFC-5200c instead. I am not sure I make the right decision or not...but here is what my experience with the Brother MFC-5200c. As far as the price concern...MFC-5200c is very cheap. You get everything you need to run a small business or a home use. But it lack of quality. My canon i550($100) is ten time better in speed and quality. the speed is very very slow. It did not deliver the 20ppm b&w/16ppm color as it said! my color print take almost two minute! On a regular copy it could print about 5page per minute. Every first print it need time to warm up about 15sec. Well...it is only say "Up to" so...can't blame them, but they sure miss lead consumer. Print quality is quite low. Eventhrough you can adjust it fast, narmal, and fine...still it deliver very poor quality print compare to just normal printer. Fax function is fine with me. I like it. No problem at all. It can send and recieve at resonable speed. Overall, MFC-5200c is not a bad choice for the price($190).
