Strengths: Got it at a great price. Reliable performace. Good looks.
Weaknesses: May not compare as well to other brands. Somewhat pricey for RAM. Do not buy if you're not going to overclock!
Summary: I've had 4 sticks of 512mb HyperX PC3500 RAM for 3 months now with no complaints. I've read that it's latency settings are higher than Corsair or other competing brands, but it is marginal. I bought the RAM at Best Buy 50% for $100 a stick. It's list price is somewhat higher, but it's still a relatively good deal. Before buying RAM that's rated higher than 400mhz, make sure your motherboard has ratio settings, or else you will be locked into a certain CPU speed. I fell into this trap with my Asus P4C800 (a board which I would not recommend). For instance, to achieve this RAM's full potential on a 1:1 ratio, you need your bus speed to be set to 217mhz. Make sure you can handle that. Look into the other types of RAM at this speed and price, but the HyperX is a good choice.
