Strengths: It had a really good picture and I enjoyed working with it.

Weaknesses: The screen died after only 15 months.

Summary: The box states that it has a 3 year warranty... when I called after the monitor went blank after only 15 months, I was told that the warranty had expired after 1 year, and all I now had was a "limited warranty" where I have to pay for the parts(the parts literally cost more than an entire new one).

Another wasted monitor

Strengths: It had a fine picture for doing basic office work.

Weaknesses: Warranty and company support.

Summary: Bought this monitor through Office Depot with the mail in rebates and instant off price is was a great deal 2.5 years ago. That was until the ccl would not come on any more. The box indicates a 3 year warranty, when I called to get it taken care of, I was told since I bought it from Office Depot that it only has a 2 year warranty. Basically I was SOL. Thanks KDS USA for your support of US products. Yeah I know if you check the parts inside they are made in China.

Complete and utter junk. Not even worth FREE.

Strengths: The only strength I can think of is that you are likely to see this LCD bundled for free and near free with desktop purchases.

Weaknesses: Well where should we begin. With the poor washed out quality of the display or the fact that my original purchase stopped working after just 15 days. The replacement was also defective.

Summary: Between the spotty manufacturing quality and the poor display quality when you can get this LCD to function, I would have to recommend that you avoid just POS at all costs. Also doesn't help that compared to many other manufacturer's 3yr warranties on monitors, KDS offers only a 1yr warranty with you having to spring for shipping costs after a brief 30 or 90 day period.

Strengths: PROS: Great Color, no ghosting, or anything negative with games, good drivers

Weaknesses: CONS: I would say none, but if I had to theres no way to adjust the monitor itself no swivel or anything. However monitor sits perfectly for me so need to. Also no DVI.

Summary: Overall I give it a 100%. I dont care about DVI, I would if the picture suffered but it does not, i dont present anything so i really dont have a need to turn my monitor in every direction.

Very Happy! No regrets! No Dead Pixels upon arrival!

One thing I must say is this monitor does not just play games compared to CRT's it improved my gaming expirence a lot! You dont relize how color washed your monitor it is til it sits next to one of these bad boys!

KDS Monitor Great for the Money

Strengths: Wonderful price for the product

Weaknesses: Haven't found any so far

Summary: I purchased this after having a CRT monitor take up half of my desk and ruin my posture from continually have to turn my head to view it all day. Decided to spend my money on a new monitor instead of doctor's visits. Found this through the Office Depot website after rebate for only $165 including tax! ($100 rebate and then a $30 off coupon for purchase total being over $150) It may not be the best out there, but it's definitely better than a CRT screen.
