Strengths: Burn Speed Weaknesses: Cost of +R/+RW media compared to Cost of -R/-RW media Summary: I am very pleased with the TDK INDI drive (Model AID+420N), But in my opinion the "Pinnacle software SUCKS" as soon as I upgraded it, it chashed my system I took it off and it won't go back on. Nero is a good product. I wished I could have bought the The Indi DVD MultiFormat (Model AID+040212N) that was supposed to be available in January 2003. Its march and still no AID+040212N. I have backup several DVD movies, as well as a couple Play Station games without a hic up, bottom line is that all you can ask for. 100% of People (2/2) found this review helpful. Burns DVD+RW media much faster than regular CD-RW. Weaknesses: Can not burn -R or -RW media. Summary: So far so good. Was really pleased with the fast DVD+RW burn speed. Have used DVD-Xcopy to copy some DVD's with no problem. The video editing software that comes with this drive takes forever to burn a 1 hr 30 min Mpeg2 video to disk. Started recording at 10 PM. Did not finish until almost 5 AM the next morning. Overall I'm pretty pleased but, would much rather have the Sony drive.
