Strengths: (1) Dry wet both usable
(2) 110V / 220V usable
(3) It is very easy to clean
Weaknesses: None
Summary: 2005-08-10 11:00:29 I have used several electric shavers over the years and have found that Panasonic does the best for me. The models with the linear motor are by far the best. It does a great job shaving without creating irritation around my mouth or on my neck - with other electrics and with blades I always break out in both places. After using it for 2 weeks, I have found that I only have to go back and clean up with a razor every once in a while if I let the hair get too long for the shaver to handle.
The razor is very sturdy. Other reviewers say it isn't, and for the life of me I can't figure out why they say that. This thing is a tank. I also like the 3 settings it has that allow the heads to float or stay locked. I get about 8 shaves between charges, but I take a long time to shave compared to most people. I like the charging base and the fact that I can remove the cord from it. My other panasonics had the magnetic induction charger and it was big and bulky and hard to pack when traveling. This razor can work on both 110v and 240v, which is important for me as I travel overseas frequently.

Strengths: Very flexible and easy to use, does the job perfectly, bang for the buck!
Weaknesses: While the shaver does a perfect job on cheek, the same cannot be said about its performance on the throat region. May be I dont know how to use it perfectly...
Summary: I was always under the impression that electric shavers can screw up the skin pretty badly and would spoil the smoothness of the skin. Also, the fear of having a machine run at high speeds on my face didnt bode well for me. One of my friend's gave this shaver as a gift to me and since then, I feel bad that I didnt try using electric shavers before. As this is my first auto shaver, I cannot compare its perfomance with others. All I can tell is that this shaver makes a 5-10 minute job (when using razor) to a 2-3minute one and with near perfection. Considering the fact that its around $60, definitely feel its worth every penny. Highly recommend this product!

Strengths: Close, comfortable, without irritation shave. Fast and powerful. Easy to clean. Ergonomic shape.
Weaknesses: I am not crazy about the new stand.
Summary: I have been using Panasonic shavers for quite a while (before they came up with Linear shavers and before other companies started to make wet/water proof shavers). I discovered their shavers after trying Norelco and Braun. I was hooked by how close/comfortable was their shave. This shaver is almost a copy of ES8092 (which I have been using for over 2 years). The only major difference is the new charging stand. I am not that crazy about it and I doubt that I would use it as a stand except when charging it (I do not want to have problems with its electrical contacts). Panasonic had problems with their batteries/chargers for 88x and 806x series. And due to bad customer service their rating is lower. But starting with 809x series it looks like they fixed the problem. Probably that is why they went for the simpler non-inductive charger (also to lower the cost). Otherwise, these new Pivoting shavers are great. They give the greatest shave and that is why I stuck with them even when Panasonic had problems. The Pivoting mechanism works very well and the head follows your face. It is the best foil shaver system and greatly improves comfort. I use the shaver mostly dry but for a shave closer than a blade I go for a wet shave. The blades and cutters last longer than other brands. Love its ergonomic shape. Slide-up trimmer works very well. What can I say, it is a winner.

Strengths: quality/price rate is high, amazing quick recharge, deal with thick and tough stubbles well, comfortable to hold.
Weaknesses: a little noisy
Summary: 2005-08-12 13:21:06 Very good shaver at around 50 dollars; feel better than other famous brand I used at similar price; 1 hour full recharge and 3 minutes one-use recharge; handle thick and tough stubbles very well. The design is cool and confortable to hold in hand.

Strengths: Wet and dry shaver; easy to clean!
Weaknesses: The charger base is not solid enough!
Summary: It's the best shaver I have used so far! For the first days (actually till now),however, my face still has not got accustomed to it yet. I guess it takes more time. Strongly recommended!

Strengths: Powerful. Durable. Quick Charge.
Weaknesses: Battery not replaceable
Summary: The first impression of this shaver is that it's powerful. It might bother some sensitive customer. Over all, it's well made and durable shaver. It would have been better if it operates with AC.

Strengths: Price, smooth shave.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: 2005-07-13 19:01:46 I just switched from a razor and I must say I am very impressed with this eletric shaver. Obviously it is not as good as a razor, but it gives a very smooth shave and is very easy to use and clean. Plus, you can't beat the price for a top of the line shaver.

Strengths: descent quality
Weaknesses: none
Summary: Got this on my last trip to New York when I forgot to pack my Braun. Have been very happy, so much so that I now use this regularly and have retired my 10-year-old Braun. It's great for all types of shaving. I really have nothing unflattering to say about this great electric shaver

Strengths: close shave, wet/dry shave, very smooth, ability to clean with water and to use with gel, foam. worldwide voltage
Weaknesses: the battery can't be replaced, it will eventually die. while in charge, can't be used
Summary: My 8092c broke, so I bought the 8152 20-30 dollar cheaper. It's basically the same as 8092c minus the fancy charging station. (8092 has to metal plugs visible.) It works great, very close shave, without cutting and bleeding. I wish it could be used while plugged, since the battery will die eventually. However, guess as a safety feature, panasonic disabled the shaver while in charge. Because it's a wet-dry shaver.

Strengths: a.Floating triple heads
b.5 stage battery monitor
c.1 hr quick charge
d.Turbo Cleaning Mode
e.Wet/Dry shaving and cleaning
Weaknesses: a. Can not work directly under AC
b. No brush included for cleaning
Summary: This is a very good shaver with adjustable Pivot Action head. The sound is low when running. The 5 stage battery monitor is very convenient for monitoring the battery life. The shaving feels very comfortable. I have had an older version of Panasonic shaver and I like it. One thing you need to pay attention to is always put the cap on the shaver to protect the outer foil because it is very thin and easy to deform if hit by something.

Strengths: Wet/Dry, Turbo Clean, Small, Quiet
Weaknesses: Weak Battery, Works OK
Summary: 2006-12-22 19:15:36 I bought this because it is the cheapeast one in the top-of-the-line electric shaver. I have to say that I feel OK abut it. I used Gillette Mach 3 Turbo shave before I got this. But it can NOT beat the razor. The shaver is more convenient to use since I don't like to use gel. But it takes more time to shave. Furthermore the battery dies relatively fast. The turbo clean function is definitely plus point.

Strengths: Smooth shave.
Lots of power.
Weaknesses: Charger connections are stiff and hard to connect.
Shaver head movement switch is very sensitive and can be disturbed without realizing it has been changed.
Summary: This is the best Panasonic Razor I have ever used. I have been a user for 15 years of their Wet/Dry chavers and I like the way they shave.

Decent shaver
Strengths: -wet + dry
-110-240 volts worldwide power acceptance
Weaknesses: - still not as close of a shave as a conventional high-end razor (such as a mach3 blade)
Summary: I've had this for a few months now. my skin is really sensitive and i've tried other electric razors in the past. I got this one primerily because it was advertised as a wet and dry razor. So far, being able to have a wet shave with a electric razor has helped, but it's still not the same as using a conventional blade. I would say it's OK for the price.
