Strengths: Dect 6.0, nice shiny black color, talking Caller ID.
Weaknesses: The orange backlit color on the keys. A cool blue would have been nice.
Summary: After purchasing this phone, am amazed at the call quality and the fact that it does not interfere with other household appliances. The Dect 6.0 system provides long ranges while not interfering with other devices. All handsets automatically update the missed calls, and we can access the answering machine from any one of the handsets, which is a great feature. All in all, a very good phone.

Strengths: Good sound quality
Solid construction
White backlit screen that's big and easy to read
No antenna design
Handsets use common AAA battery
Weaknesses: No message counter on the base unit
Black finish is easy to scratch
small TALK/END button
Summary: This phone series is truly one of the best Panasonichas ever created. They have listened carefully to their customers when designing this phone and have indeed come very close to a perfect design. Aside from the great interference free voice quality compliments of DECT 6.0 and Panasonic's own Voice Enhancer it also employs a no antenna design for a more rounded look. The handsets use AAA rechargeable battery, meaning you can easily expand the talk time if you use higher capacity aftermarket batteries. This has been one of the biggest issues with cordless phone as you were bound to the battery manufacturer supplied you (unless willing to hack the battery pack and rig your own) but with this design all you need to get like-new power a few years down the road is inexpensive AAA rechargeables. My only complaint is the lack of audible alert for answering machine messages and also lack of a visual message counter that seems to have bite the dust to save some money, although to Panasonic's credit you can use the display on any handset to see the number of messages stored and/or to play them back. I highly recommend this phone to everyone in market for a cordless phone.

Strengths: - Great Clarity
- I love the ability to check voice mail from any of the handsets
- Very comfortable to hold and talk even for long time
Weaknesses: - Only 16 mins of voicemail, could be a problem while on a vacation
- One handset just died - i am going to get a replacement
Summary: This is a great quality phone with all the latest features - talking caller id, talking alarm, controlling which phone rings at night etc. Despite one of the handsets dying, i am planning on getting a replacement and stick with the phone.

Is it just our phone?
Strengths: Great phone when it works. Lots of features that are cool. Talking caller ID. Assigning ring tones to phonebook contacts. Night mode. All cool benefits.
Weaknesses: Orange back light, length of message space.
Summary: When phone rings it often just cuts out and the display goes blank, it looses connection with the base, I think we may have gotten a bad system. Would appreciate knowing if this is an isolated issue.

Strengths: Talking caller ID/talking alarm clock/talking battery alert, call block, night mode, DECT 6.0, and digital handset speakerphone.
Weaknesses: Answering machine doesn't show a number of how many messages you have and battery charge not as good as other Panasonic's.
Summary: I bought this phone set for a great price at Costco B&M. The first day I got it I charged it for the recommended time and put it through rigorous testing. The call quality if extremely clear everywhere in my house.
The lighted keypads are a blessing at night. The night mode is a plus if you don't want to be disturbed in specific rooms. The only disappointing part of the phone is the answering machine lack of functions on the home base.
My favorite part of course is the talking caller ID! Even thought it's only been a week - overall, this is probably one of the best cordless phone purchases I've ever made.

Strengths: Quality item, great audio, many many features. Comparing it ti a V-Tech and Uniden,Panasonic is much higher quality
Weaknesses: None that I can detect
Summary: Have owned many Panasonic products and always had good service from items such as VCR' etc. I am now using 3 VCR's that are more than 10 years old, and they all record extremely well. Norm Peno

Piece of junk
Strengths: When they work the voice is clear and the talking caller ID is cool.
Weaknesses: Loses connection with the base.
Summary: I bought this phone a couple months ago and the problems started right away. The first signs was an occasional connection loss with the base. Hang it up and it may or may not connect. It got to the point where it would hardly connect at all. I called Panasonic, who sent me a new set. We have had it for 4 days now and it is starting the same thing. If I could give this a zero star I would, customer service sucks.

Horrible phone
Strengths: Less interference
Weaknesses: Phones will not stay connected to base.
Summary: I bought two sets of this system to use as a 6 line phone. I was told it would work without a problem. We just don't have the answering machine turned on for one of the bases. When I lift several of the units from the base, they frequently shut down and I have to put them back into the case, at which time it says that the batteries are low, even though they are fully charged. I spoke with customer service several times and they want me to mail the units to them for service as they can't fix them over the phone and it's over 30 days since I bought them. So I have to pay for shipping to get a brand new system repaired.

Sorry Phone
Strengths: When it works, the works GREAT.
Weaknesses: Constantly loses connection with the base
Summary: I have to carry at least two phones around with me if I am moving from room to room. It usually quits about i/2 second after connection - sometimes 10 minutes. Often, it takes two phones to get thru a conversation. Talking ID would be better without a foreign accent. Really garbles most words.
