Weaknesses: Poor screen resolution and volume is not loud enough to hear through BOSE noise-cancelling headphones. Summary: Bought this player at Best Buy for $179 prior to a trip to Asia (13 hour flight), and viewed 4 movies with no battery power concerns. The LCD resolution and sound volume was not as good as the Sony DVP-FX820, but twice the battery life of 12 hours sold me. The thickness is over 2 inches which makes it a little difficult to slip in a briefcase and the AC power supply contacts do not fold and is bulky. 100% of People (1/1) found this review helpful. Summary: About best portable DVD player I have Tested . Every thing on the player was very good. I like the style and the larger screen. Hold release and slide simultaneously. Have not been able to slide or get LCD into compact position. Summary: The outstanding feature is the long battery life which I need for international flights. The case is attractive although the buttons are to close which causes me to hit volumn when I do not intend to do so. Overall its okay as soon as I figure out above weaknesses.
