Strengths: Tv is perfect for small places, like kitchens etc. THe color, tuner, etc work well - took about 10 minutes to setup.. The OTA HD channels are great..
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This tv is great. Like i said, this tv is small enough for kitchens, bathrooms, small rooms, but big enough to show a fantastic picture, especially the OTA HDTV channels, like CBS, ABC, NBC etc. You can't go wrong with this tv.. The price is right and the picture is supurb..

Get it!!

Strengths: Clarity, Size, inputs
Weaknesses: Remote doesn't sit well when trying to change channel without picking up remote.. (minor annoyance)
Summary: This tv works very well, gets all unscrambled DTV stations and they look great in 1080i or 720p. You can't go wrong with this tv for small offices and/or kitchens. The only thing that annoys me is that the remote when sitting on a counter will not say in place when you try to change the channel. The remote is kinda oval and flips around when you try to change the channel with your finger b/c the remote isn't sitting flush with the counter.

Seriouly, this is the only drawback and for most it will be a non-issue. In fact, for me, it's just a minor annoyance..

For the $ this is a wonderful set.. Get it!

Strengths: Picture, Style, ease of use
Weaknesses: Cost, scratch prone front bezel
Summary: The Samsung LN19A450 is a great LCD TV for anyone who needs a second unit for the kitchen, office, exercise room, even a small bedroom. It has all the connections you will ever need, including a pc input. And it's smart too! It scanned all my standard and HiDef cable channels, deleted the scrambled ones and organized them all at a touch of a button! How's that for convenience? Oh, did I mentioned it looks beautiful too? I'm thoroughly satisfied.

Strengths: small form factor, HD OTA included
Weaknesses: only one HDMI port
Summary: Got this TV through Crutchfield for free during a deal they were running when you buy a larger TV.

It's a perfect TV for the kitchen. Doesn't take up much room. I have it hooked up to a simple DVD player and use it to pick up OTA HD signals with a standard HD antenna.

OTA channels come in better than my older HD receiver, but still is a bit jumpy at times. Hope this changes in the future, as analog signals come in better sometimes right now (the analog signals although a little fuzzy can still be watchable). I may need to get a small amplified antenna.

Not a big deal, but it doesn't have a ton of inputs, but you shouldn't expect that for a TV this size.

2 Star ReviewQuirky Software
Strengths: Stylish
Weaknesses: Software/Firmware Problems
Summary: Purchased for spare bedroom. Paid a little more for the Samsung name. Bad idea. Unit hangs up during auto-programming. Hours on phone with Samsung. Software updates but no solution. I use external hdtv antenna. Cable/Sat may work fine. Finally got unit to program by removing input coax when it auto-program hangs up and then quickly attaching once it starts working. Point is for the money there are units out there that work much better.
