DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN !!!
Strengths: Absolutely none.
Weaknesses: This oven is junk. Made in China and shows it. Cheap construction.
Summary: This oven spent 45 minutes in our kitchen before I packed it back up and took it to Sears for a refund. We bought all new high end kitchen appliances from Sears and we were able to actually examine floor models of all but the microwave. We bought this microwave sight unseen out of the catalogue while purchasing our other appliances because it was a Bosch we figured that it was top end. Boy were we wrong! We bought the Bosch dishwasher and it is the Rolls Royce of dishwashers and made in the USA but the microwave was junk. The door latches are the cheapest plastic I've ever seen and the deal breaker was when I examined $149 GE and Kenmore microwaves I immediately noticed that the frame to exterior screws are in exactly the same locations, the rear covers are identical, the flimsy door latches are the same, i.e., the ovens are all manufactured in the same plant from the same parts and only differ in exterior trim. You are paying $300 or more for the word "BOSCH" on the door. I have always had a great deal of respect for Bosch Corp and have bought power tools and automotive products with their name on them but I will always have a much more critical opinion from now on. Bosch is creating a great deal of damage to their reputation by buying these cheap toy microwave ovens from China and palming them off as high end when they are just cheap, low end microwaves that Walmart would not even carry... but then again Walmart probably does sell a version, as a $119 model.
