 All specifications of this screen look amazing exc ... Strengths: Fast response time, clear text and high contrast ratio. Good price.
Weaknesses: The biggest weakness of this screen is the color quality. It is a 16bit display meaning is supports up to 262K colors, compared to other similar screens that are 24 bit (16.77 million colors).
Summary: All specifications of this screen look amazing except the color support, its easy to overlook the low number of colors supported and it is not mentioned in any press release. Compared with my Apple flat panel this screen is lifeless. All the other great features cannot compensate for the reduced color quality. Be aware of what you are buying, if you are a less demanding user, this screen can be great for you. I, for one, feel cheated by Hitachi.
