Strengths: Great picture quality, great sound quality, quiet operation.
Weaknesses: When playing CD's, it does not jump to the next CD when the current one is finished playing.
Summary: I purchased this player to go with my Denon 1803 Receiver. I wanted a good quality DVD player that I could also use as a 5 CD changer. This player delivers good quality sound and video. It also is relatively quiet compared to some of the DVD players on the market.

Using the player as a CD changer, it works well and has some nice features such as 5 disc random play, and the ability to program a playlist. Unfortunately, when playing a CD in normal play mode, it does not jump from one CD to the next one when the first CD is over, which can be annoying.

Overall, a very good player that could use some minor tweaking.

Strengths: Good sound and video reproduction
Weaknesses: The only multidisk changer that does not by default move on to the next disk when previous disk is finished playing.
Summary: The machine works very well as far as playback of various formats of media is concerned, DVD/CD/CD-R and MP3. The sound and video are very sharp, better then most that I have seen at any price.

HOWEVER, there is one HUGE fault in functionality. This player does NOT automatically play multiple disk! You have to press play at the end of each disk to start the next one! This can be remedied by fiddling around with the remote, but you have to do that every time you turn on the the player, it always defaults to single disk play!!! What is the point of a multidisk player that doesn't continuously play? Hopefully Denon can come up with a fix before I have to return this otherwise fine machine.
